Here are some of Friday’s high school football games involving Western Wisconsin teams:Ellsworth (1-0) at Waukesha South (1-0), 6 p.m.Ellsworth escaped against a stout Edgar team that could contend for a Division 7 title this season with an 8-6 victory last week. ATLANTA — Rudy Giuliani turned himself in at a jail in Atlanta on Wednesday on charges related to efforts to overturn then-President Donald Trump’s loss in the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.The former New York mayor was indicted last week along with Trump and 17 others. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said they participated in a wide-ranging conspiracy to subvert the will of the voters after the Republican president lost to Democrat Joe Biden in November 2020. Hudson has been a football program largely built on defensive dominance for years. Last year’s group certainly lived up to the billing, holding seven of its 11 opponents to single-digit scoring.But that unit also featured the likes of Will McDonald, who now plays for Wisconsin. Diamond Point man arrested and charged with rape

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Diamond Point man was arrested on Wednesday for third-degree rape. Nathan W. Hilbert, 18, is accused of having nonconsensual sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old victim. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! Hilbert was already facing two counts of first-degree rape for incidents involving an adult victim and an 11-year-old victim. Hilbert was also charged with promoting a sexual performance with a child and possessing a sexual performance of a child. New poll explores Missouri views on LGBTQ care and schools

ST. LOUIS – In August, 900 likely Missouri voters were asked about issues facing the Missouri LGBTQ community as a part of the 2023 SLU/YouGov Poll. At least 63% of voters think that transgender children shouldn't be able to get medical care like hormone therapy, drugs that stop puberty, or surgery that changes their gender.Governor Parson signed the "Missouri Save Adolescents from Experiment (SAFE) Act" in June.
